You may have recently received an email regarding the recent Google policy changes prohibiting advertisers from targeting or excluding ads based on gender, age, parental status, marital status, or postal code. The Housing, Employment, and Credit policy (HEC) is part of an ongoing evolution of Google’s personalized advertising policies around sensitive categories. Offers of credit are within the scope of this policy, and providing lease and financing options in your ad copy (Search, Display, and YouTube) brings the ad(s) under the HEC policy microscope. The Leadbox team has been working closely with the Google Autos team to ensure your campaigns will not be impacted by this change. Are there any steps I need to take? No, the Leadbox team has made the necessary changes and will be monitoring campaigns closely to ensure there are no disruptions. Please feel free to reach out to Steve Barker or your Account Management team should you have any questions or concerns. |
