What’s new in Leadbox’s Website 5.1.1 Release

The Leadbox core website team is excited to announce the release of 5.1 and 5.1.1 for the Leadbox website platform!

This release includes more dynamic search functionality, increased french translations to published core components, and a new search filter that allows for the filtering of vehicle by major features.

This functionality is available for all newly built v5 clients. Migrations are scheduled for all existing v5 clients.

Account Managers will be notified when their clients are patched.

Update results immediately after filter selection

Leadbox websites now update vehicle results immediately after a filter change without needing to press the “search” button.

This experience provides the user with instant results feedback when searching for a vehicle providing them a more intuitive experience.

Increased French Translations

Leadbox websites 5.1.1 now have had every consumer facing component translated to French. This includes 5 headers, 9 vehicle cards, 3 filters and much more.

Filter by Vehicle Features

Inspired by the search filter by Westwood Honda, a new filter option (Filter 3) has been added to the component library.

Clients can now choose to allow their shoppers to filter by major component in addition to all the regular drop down features.

Shoppers can now filter by: All wheel Drive, Back up Camera, Bluetooth Connection, Heated Front Seats, Keyless Entry, Leather Seats, Moonroof, Power driver Seats, and Electric Motor.

These filters will appear as long as there are vehicles with these features in the inventory. This is to prevent dealers from having to see a filter that none of their vehicles have.

For example, the “Electric Motor” filter option will only appear if there is at least one vehicle with an electric motor in their inventory, otherwise it will be hidden.

Next release we are focusing on more filter options and ux enhancements.

Most notably:

FIlter 4 – a new horizontal filter inspired by Erinwood Ford
Vehicle counts on filter options – allowing the shopper to see the count of vehicles before they select.
Dealer controlled pop up gallery – Dealers can now add a modal gallery pop up to any of their pages
Newly updated Payment Calculator layout – Shoppers will have a more streamlined payment calculator experience.
